    1. Project: "Master's Program in Sustainable Fisheries Management and Aquaculture"
      This is a fully funded program by the European Union as part of the Erasmus+ projects, involving four European universities and four Egyptian universities, including the College of Desert and Environmental Agriculture – Matrouh University. The project is titled "Knowledge Exchange in Sustainable Fisheries and Aquaculture Management in the Mediterranean Region" and runs from 2019 to 2023.

    Postgraduate Studies and Research:

    • Establishment of a Peer-Reviewed Scientific Journal (Desert and Environmental Agriculture Journal) published by the College of Desert and Environmental Agriculture in collaboration with the Egyptian Knowledge Bank. It received a 7/7 rating for two consecutive years (2023 to 2026), the highest rating according to Egyptian scientific journals from the Supreme Council of Universities. The journal was first issued on 20th September 2020, and two issues (January and June) were published in 2024.
    • International Publications by Faculty Members: 123 papers published by 21 faculty members, with 54 papers in Web of Science and 69 in Scopus until 26th November 2024.
    • Organization of Seminars on Research Ethics and Scientific Publishing for postgraduate students, faculty, and teaching assistants.
    • Uploading Data of All Registered Postgraduate Students to the Al-Haytham Electronic System for Postgraduate Studies.
    • Promotion of Faculty Members: 2 assistant lecturers promoted to associate professors, 3 associate professors promoted to professors, 4 assistant lecturers promoted to lecturers, and 2 teaching assistants promoted to assistant lecturers.
    • Registration of 90 Students (49 master's, 16 PhD, and 25 diploma students) in various postgraduate programs at the college.
    • Organization of 195 Scientific Discussion Seminars (for master's and PhD students) at the college.
    • Granting Diplomas: 24 students awarded diplomas in various postgraduate specialties.

    • Approval of the New Undergraduate Regulations by the Agricultural Studies Sector Committee at the Supreme Council of Universities for four academic programs – 3rd May 2025.
    • The college organized a scientific trip and practical training on May 1, 2025, for students to the Virginia Food Industries factories in Marsa Matrouh.
    • Honoring the college student team for winning first place in the FAO JECT competition in the agricultural programming track. The project idea is a robot designed to combat weeds that compete with crops for nutrients. The robot uses multiple interconnected sensors linked to a central processing unit, which directs the weeder plates to eliminate the weeds. This competition is held under the patronage of the global FAO organization (#FAO) and the Academy of Scientific Research. Its aim is to qualify students in the fields of programming, scientific research, and entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector Date: April 26, 2025.
    • Organized a Scientific Trip on 16th April 2025 for students to a model farm for French meat pigeon production in Fayoum.
    • Organized a Field Training Trip on 3rd December 2024 for students to a protected agriculture company at the Mohamed Naguib Military Base.
    • Organized a Field Training Trip on 4th November 2024 for students to Lamar Dairy and Food Industries Company in Nubaria, Alexandria-Cairo Road.
